Projects - Borehole complete in the village of Aloet

Thank you so much for the funds for borehole drilling at Aloet.

Immediately after receiving the funds we were ready to start and I am pleased to say that the work has progressed well and tomorrow they will be fixing the pipes and testing will be done on Monday 26th Feb.

The well is in the church land. This church has been praying for the roof for about one year now. So we hope that God will provide so they can have this church completed.

Good news! The borehole is done to the joy of the people in Aloet village. They are not allowed to pump the water until after 5 days when the concrete has set.

This is a community borehole,and it will be managed by a local committee. If not well managed it could get broken and repair is costly. a Security fence and a gate will ensure that children and irresponsible persons do not get in and pump without some one to help them. The local comminty themselves will rotate to guard the borehole. One person will keep the key in turns each day.

We thank God for the borehole in Mugiti, as it has never broken down. It is well managed.
